To enrol your child/children you will need to provide:

* Your child's birth certificate. (This is a legal requirement -  enrolment cannot commence until this has been provided).

* Your child's immunisation certificate. (Due to changes to the Health Act, all children need an immunisation certificate).

* Your child's baptismal certificate (If your child is Roman Catholic), as this will assist us in future sacramental preparation.

Emergency Contacts

In cases when your child is unwell and we are unable to contact you, we will require the names and phone numbers of two local adults whom we can contact and are able to collect your child if necessary. If there are any changes to your emergency contacts during the year, please inform the office.


Additional Information required when transferring from another school

A transfer note from the principal of the previous school.

To assist our staff in learning about your child, planning work at an appropriate level and helping your child to settle into St. Bernard's, a parent / teacher interview to provide the following information may be beneficial: copies of previous school reports, previous teacher's file on your child's academic progress, examples of your child's work.



St. Bernard's is bound by the National Privacy Principles contained in the Commonwealth Privacy Act. The primary purpose of collecting information is to enable St. Bernard's to provide schooling for its students. The purpose for which St. Bernard's School uses personal information of students and parents/guardians include:
