Grade 5-6

The Grade Five and Six learning area consists of a cluster of five classrooms. Each classroom is easily accessible to enable collaborative teaching and learning, and to promote our leadership community.

The teaching staff plan for the student's learning experiences, with the support of a Learning Support Officer and Literacy Support Staff. Teachers gather data from students in order to plan for individual learning needs.

Each student in the senior area uses their own iPad as a tool to showcase their learning in individual, partner and group activities. A variety of other devices are also available to support the children in their learning.

Each year students apply for Leadership positions that are integral to the organisation and running of our school community.

Those Leadership positions are:

Student Leaders - these students represent our school community at many events, including the ANZAC and Remembrance Services, as well as supporting events within the school community.
